JACK CHUNG

I'm a research scientist, developing DUV/VUV optical coatings and photodetectors for next-generation semiconductor inspection tools at KLA. Prior to KLA, I did my postdoctoral research at NSEC, the University of California, Berkeley. My research lay in electrical and thermoelectric properties in moiré quantum materials, and magneto-optical effects in 2D ferromagnetic materials. I'm excited to apply my physics knowledge, DOE techniques, and materials characterization skills to tackle some of the most challenging problems. I also like hiking, traveling/weekend getaways, table tennis, and cooking in my spare time.
